WTB - Daverob's Pachinko Dongle without card reader

Hey,

Does anyone have one of Daverob's (pachinball dave) pachinko dongle for sale? I am looking for just the dongle, and do not need the card reader. I live in Chicago. I have contacted Akimono, but I am having trouble reaching him. If I am not mistaken he is very bust with his business.

TY, I actually did contact Dave. He is the UK and reccomended that I go through Akimono as he sells them cheaper after the currency exchange/shipping. I was hoping someone here had a spare one that they could part with

EDIT - actually, I reviewed the prices at Daverob's site and its $5 more to ship it versus Akimonos price. Ill probably end up just going through him

I am suffering from the constant increases in postage costs. When I first started selling the dongles, priority shipping with tracking cost me £5.78 for a single dongle order sent to the States, so I set my flat rate at £7.50 to cover the cost of the packing materials and my shoe leather . This rate covered the cost of shipping orders of up to four dongles, and I was happy paying the extra shipping if I got any larger orders.

It now costs £8.90 to ship one dongle with the same priority service (or £7.88 if I accidentally describe the instruction sheet as a 'letter'!), all small orders that weigh more than a single dongle now cost £9.90 !

If I change to standard airmail (no priority handling or tracking), then I could reduce the flat rate shipping cost to £5. But losing the tracking makes it almost impossible to make a successful claim if it gets lost in the mail, so it's likely that I'd have to cover any losses out of my own pocket.

Should I make the cheaper airmail the default choice for shipping? Unfortunately the simple PayPal shopping cart I use on my website doesn't allow for different shipping options, so I'd have to add a 'Priority shipping with tracking' item to the store that customers would have to add manually if they require it.

Until I decide whether to make this change, if anyone would prefer standard airmail shipping for a small order, then you can email me (via the address on my website) with the order details and I'll send you a PayPal invoice to pay with the reduced shipping amount.

You will love it! You will wonder how you got by without a DaveRob Dongle! All pachinko machines should have one!
