looks decent... "Lights up" Its the not-Thunderbird one.

for $20? ouch... great price. Worth it even for parts. Anyone closer to Salinas?

Odd looks like it has 2 transformers on it (one at the bottom in the normal place and one on the top of the frame). I would be very suspicious about that.

But for $20 how could you go wrong. Still great for parts at that price.

Well, I decided to pop for it. Finally got ahold of the guy and picked it up. The chrome was in horrible shape and the dust and cobwebs had been building for some time.
I got it home and spent a few minutes with the air compressor blowing it off. I plugged it in and dropped a few ball in it. Unbelievable! EVERYTHING works! Lights and all. I'm amazed that the cel and all graphics are in such great shape. I have a parts machine that I'll swap out the chrome with and this baby will be cherry! I actually prefer the Chinaman Powerflash over the Thunderbird and the only other one I've seen is a Fish one and that doesn't do anything for me.

Interesting Max, there are two transformers in back at the bottom. One for the solenoids and a smaller one for the lights. The unit on the top of the frame is actually a switch box with a light that comes on when the switch is on. Pretty clever but ugly as sin. I'll relocate the switch into a battle counter box I'm building. I'll start a new thread on this restore.

Not a Power flash. It is more related to a Circuit Racer machine.
