Default Yamasa 1999 with E0 error at random

I thought it was a "tilt" system giving me the error. I can play for a while and then it hangs and I have to reset. It might last a minute or 5 and then it gets the error again. I got the machine from a friend who has had it 10 years. Works fine other than this issue. I have read around here enough to know this must be a coin receptor issue. But it is not happening when I put a token in. Is it maybe loose? Not sure where to check.IMG_1343.jpgIMG_1344.jpg Here is my machine if that helps. I do not know anything more than I believe it is a Yamasa.

Is there anyone who has parts? I can only guess there is some issue with the coin acceptor and it needs replaced.

If you are getting a E-0 error code and it is happening at random, not depositing a token, my best guess would be loose and/or bad connection or maybe a pinched wire. Check all the connections on the coin mechanism itself and where those connections connect to the circuit board. Unplug these connections and reseat them. Most problems with these machines are loose connections or something is dirty/sticky.
What if...the HOKEY POKEY, is what it's all about?
