    Default IGT Elvis

I have an IGT Elvis, the real licensed one not a crappy copy. Inside if the hopper to the left there is a metal bar/curly spring type object that is the thickness of a hanger. What is exactly that part and what is it used for?

IGT hoppers are a little different than other manufactures. The wheel that collects the tokens, (phone dial), lays flat in the bottom of the hopper and not on a slant. The wire helps in getting the tokens into the holes of the wheel.
