    Default Newbie from VA

Hi! I'm Justin and I am hooked on pachinko! *feels like AA meeting* LOL!

I just purchased my first pachinko machine, Macross Frontier, in May and I love it! It was the most advanced one I could find locally for the theme I liked. I have had it for over a month and I am still very happy with my purchase. My first pachinko experience without knowing it was pachinko was Sexy Reaction on MAME... I know it was pervy, but I loved playing it. I just did not know what pachinko was. My last anime convention back in Feb 2013 had a few machines so I got to sit down and learn a lot. I played a few machines older and newer, but after I tried Galaxy Express... I was HOOKED! After much research online and failing on Craigslist, I found a simi-local dealer close by and made my first machine purchase. I have a feeling I will be buying a few more. I seem to lean more toward the more modern ones and usually anime themes. I really want the new Gundam machine!

I have TON of questions to post in other areas so that is why I am here. I love the wealth of information on this site and it kept showing up while searching online so why not sign up. I hope to meet many friends on here and learn much more!
    -Justin ^_^

    Welcome to Pachitalk!!!

Pachinko is a bit of an addiction.

Just started several months ago restoring old Vintage Machines. Picked up an early modern near my house last week and experienced my first "fever mode". The journey to the Dark Side had begun.

As if on cue, last saw a CL listing for a 2004 Sankyo Star Wars. Had to pick that up.

Alas, had to sell two of my vintage machines, but now I have a nice trio of machines. One from the 70's, one from the 80's and one from 2004.

A lot of neat people here, full of help.
    71 Nishijin "A" Bowling, 80's Nishijin Hit Parade , 05 Sankyo Star Wars, 07 Fuji Yamato 1, 09 Fuji Yamato 2
----------> ----------> ....And so it goes...

Thanks everyone so far! I was just playing so had to step away. Forgive my lack of terms at the moment, but I just hit the jackpot 2 times while playing just now. I love how I keep seeing new content! Anyway, Macross seems to have 7 levels of jackpots but I never hit over 5. I wonder what happens after I get all 7 symbols?

    Welcome Aboard

Can't help you with the fever rounds. Do you mean you always win 5.5.5 and never 7.7.7 Or you haven't got 7 fevers in a row?

I know on my Maison Ikkoku after each jackpot with a 7.7.7 you advance one episode in the story. I have never gone past episode 4 yet before jackpots run out.
