Nishijin Super Deluxe Sophia Form Pachinko Palace?

So I found this one for a few dollars. First one I pick up this spring/summer.
Nishijin Super Deluxe Sophia (Showa 49)
Dirty but everything works even the electrics (has about 10 lights and a switch). I could not believe it. I will need a good cleaning and two small light sockets replaced ( I have them )
I think this is one of my better finds.
The guy said that there were some balls stuck in it. I could not find any.
Also came with about 100 rough vintage balls he packaged up for me.
Also I see "PAchinko Palace 20117 Vanowen street Canoga PArk California 91306" Not sure if that means anything special.
If anyone has anymore insight or comments on this piece I would appreciate it.

So that is number 5 and the wifey is asking how many do I need :-)

someone sure put allot of work into adding new lights... its suprizing they work..

the stamp is from the Pachinko Palace.. they were a large importer of machines that resold them.. they seem to of had stores located in most major citys...

Howdy neighbor. I am about 2 hours north of you.
The wife thinks they are cool and I catch her playing with them sometimes. She just thinks "everything in moderation"

Funny I just got off the phone with an elderly lady who wants me to take the 3 pachinko machines out of her attic.
She said "take them!! my husband loved them. I hate them!!"

Poor guy is probably rolling in his Grave! now that I think about it. maybe he will be happy someone will use them.
My daughter will be so ecstatic to see them. She is only 4 but I am trying to teach her about reusing and fixing things. She plays them while I fix them ;-)

Well what you have there is a 1973 Nishijin Model B (Spinner Man). This is the same model as my first machine. (watch out they multiply fast) Neat case someone built for that. They spent a lot of time making it. Looks like the circles at the top may have had some stained glass or something in them at some point.

Yes there was some reflector material that he gave me too that I need to glue on there.
I think it is a great piece for what I paid for it :-)
I like the cabinet also.
All it really needs is a good cleaning.

just spotted a Nishijin Sophia "Skiing" on Craigslist . its in Willmington for $50 they will take $40 and they say they have a few balls...

Nice machine BTW. It looks as if you got a nice machine and a nice cabinet as well.

Its nice to see some good "east coast" finds here as it seems that most of the good deals are on the opposite coast. I paid 33 bucks and over twice that in shipping to get my Nishijin 'A' Front overflow here from Oregon. But Florida is pretty bare for nice vintages.

However it looks as if tomorrow I may add to my collection to bring my total of 4. I am visiting the seller tomorrow. I'll come back here to gloat with some pics if everything works out.
