Arbycoffe, this news knocked me out! First, I burst into laugh, then, read it seriously again, then, checked the manufacturer's site. Yes, they are selling this product! although they don't say how the glasses work. Anyway, I understand the price is $500 with an AC adapter and $250 with a battery pack. I think I want to get and test them. If I do it, I promise to report the result on my website!

    Kudos, arbycoffee, Mr. serendipity!

These must be like LCD "shutter glasses" that are used with 3-D computer games. Those blink very fast, first shutting off the vision through one eye, then the other... in sync with the video monitor. Kinda neat... but never really caught on big.

These look neat too, and must flash (or shutter) both eyes at the same time.
But you'd still have to time your press... just seeing the reels freeze wouldn't do it by itself. I guess with practice it could work.

I know this thread is old but I believe the way they work is the green and red buttons vary the flash speed. Just adjust the the flashes till the reels move slowly (faster flash, the reels go backwards, slower, forwards). When the symbol that is 2 or 3 symbols below the one you want lines up the and the reel is stopped it should 'slip' to the correct one, just like eye shooting.

NO strobes yet but I have one at home and will try it. I tried eye shooting last night on my Neo Planet. There is a nice guide on big bears site on eye shooting and bullseye shooting. I was VERY unSUCCESSFUL!! I bet trying to use the force is much easier!!! I tried the hand trick which is very close to the shutter glasses and everything I gave up real quick. Apparently the slip on these things is measured the same on each machine .19 seconds. You actually shoot for a range... Oh I will let you go to Big Bears and read about it. I printed out the eye shooting instructions and put them in the door under my Neo Planet in case anyone wanted to try it out!

I should just edit my reply to Arby and RK, but I'm not.

Add: I did try the finger thing and I beat the living daylights out of my forehead, right above my left eye!

    I"ll never learn.
