Before, during, and after pics of the company/machine logo.
The final assembly of the wont be for another couple of weeks. The rechroming of the frame won't be finished till then and then it'll be complete.

Thanks. Definitely looking forward to getting back together, mounting it on the wall, and finally playing a few games. What started out as an iffy auction from YJA has turned out to be one of the gems in my collection. This week I should hear back from the chrome company and then I'll make a more in-depth, informative video. Next time I chrome a frame, it'll be the first thing I do in the restoration process.
Also, thanks for the link to the decal company. She's made the metallic "arrange ball", instruction card, and rocket pocket pass thru decals for me. I'm currently waiting on a decal to reproduce the small atomic retro looking image on the top pocket of the center feature. She does great work and is fast.

That's a good idea and if it were possible to be a member of YJA, I'd send some pics his way. The art studio and the print shop were both intrigued by the cel after they worked on it and want pics when the machine's complete.

    Getting there.
Also, Callie came through again and made a great "atomic" decal for the top pocket of the center feature to replace the old one.

I'm getting close to being done. Have some more work to do on the large red lower trim piece that holds the coin tray, shooter handle, etc. I've played a bunch of games on it so far and I need to spend some time adjusting the nails since its too loose. Too many balls are making it into the center feature and its shooting quarters all over the floor.
Anyone headed up my way is welcome to come over and play.
Callie is great. I wish I would have known about her years ago. Her stuff is top notch and looks factory original.
Speaking of RC planes, here's a couple I own. The red and yellow one is the one I'm attempting to learn 3D on. It's been crashed so many times that half its weight is now carbon fiber reinforcements and epoxy. The other one is a 48" Extra sans decals from Extreme Flight. I definitely have to get some more stick time first before I maiden it though.

That's a beautiful plane. I've always had a fascination for flight and RC. The original vid is going to have to do for now. I've mounted this machine on the wall and have been playing it but I still have to finish the large lower plastic that goes around the shooter handle and encompasses the coin tray. I'm sorta burnt out for the moment on restoring this machine. It happens- I go full tilt on restoration and then one day I'm just done for awhile. Basically once the machine is working properly my focus on completing the cosmetic issues wanes a tad. I'll get back to it soon enough though.
Also a couple of other things have taken my attention away and that's installing a new fence around my yard. I'm second guessing not renting the auger- the manual post hole digger is laborious. Plus it's going to be a really nice, stylish fence. Not the typical vertical slats and I'm doing it by myself.
However, what has most of my interest and something I've wanted for a few decades is on its way to my house and that's an antique slot machine. I don't care for modern slots although some of the early electromechanical ones are cool. We had a Mills War Eagle in our gameroom growing up and that is what started my interest in things mechanical, gambling oriented, and coin op. Its a Jennings 25 cent Continental Star Chief with light up front and made in the late 50's. Has the cool cup holder and ashtray and cost me an arm and a leg but its all original (there's lots of repros out there) and in tip top shape. I like all antique slots but the various Chief models are among the most attractive and what I've always wanted. The pic of the red one is my actual machine at the previous owners shop but I had him change out the red plastics for green. An example of a machine with green plastics and with its lights on is the second pic. The jackpot visible in the front is full of quarters.
So this is my much delayed, new addiction. While I learn all I can and buy all the books other things will take a back seat. It's the usual phase of a new hobby- tons of questions about the history, repair and maintenance, and for antique slots, avoiding reproductions.
