Default pulling pachinko nails for restoration

I am currently prepping a vintage machine for putting on a new playfield. I have tried to make a puller out of a wine cork remover but it didn`t work well for me. I can pull them out with a pair of pliers but this is tedious and gets old. I want to restore several of my machines but I hate pulling the nails out the most. Is there a quicker way to do this???

My favorite way is to use a screw driver and needle nose pliers.

I simply use the handle of the screwdriver as a fulcrum. I grasp the nail under the head with the pliers, then place the handle of the screwdriver under the pliers and push down on the handle of the pliers.

Some people use angled needle nose pliers, but I've had been fine with just normal pliers.

This makes removing the nails rather easy.

By using the screwdriver handle as a fulcrum you are able to pull the nail out a lot easier and takes the tedium out of trying to brute force pull the nail. Who ever invented the "lever" was a pretty genius guy (grin)

best tool for the job: Search results for: 'cat's paw nail puller'
3 bucks and you can pull every nail in about 10 minutes.
the head has the perfect curvature to remove the nails easily and it's small so it gets in tight spots.
