Can you post a few pictures of the machine and close up photos of any stickers on it. I am sure will be able to tell you more after seeing those.

Post some pics when you get a chance. From my knowledge I think the Nishijin JAL was built in 1975 but I'm not 100% till I see the machine.
Also if you post some pics of what you think is the problem area we might be able to tell you how to fix it.

we can probably lend a hand in repairs as well.. there are a few of us that do repair work.. but shipping cost of a macine is usualy a deal breaker for repair.

How familiar with pachinko machines are you? Are you sure it needs repair? Unless pieces are physically broken or missing, there's probably not much wrong with it.
The problem with pachinkos is they are very daunting machines. No back cover, mechanicals exposed and looking like they were designed by Rube Goldberg. Frequently bought from people with descriptions like "as-is", "untested", or "don't know if it works".
Do you have a couple hundred balls to run through it? Have you tried it? What kind of problems are you having? As Mopar said, unless you can find someone local to work on it, shipping is usually a killer on these things. But they really are fairly stout machines. There's a good chance you can get it working yourself with a little help from the good folks here.
