    Default Another see-saw cover

After I posted about my success in making my own Daiichi see-saw cover, I was contacted by CarlW to get together on making others (Egad! Dreaded conspiracy! )

Risking life, limb, and postage, he sent me 3 covers...a rectangular Sankyo, an oval Sankyo, and a round Sanyo. At first glance, it would seem that the round one would be the easy one, but after looking at how it was made, I decided to go with the rectangular one first. It took a couple of trys, and still needs a bit of tweaking, but the results were good:

I finished drawing up the oval cover today. I hope to have the coding done tomorrow, and one built this weekend. This one's been a much bigger challenge than I expected.

Next will be a jackpot cover for my Daiichi, and a more functional part of the ball loader mechanism. I'm also going to take a shot at some vacuum forming. The round Sanyo cover will be a good part to learn that on. Long term I look to do a line of upper ball trays and more functional parts of the mechanisms. Starting small, starting easy.

A big shout out and Thank You to CarlW for all his help, patience, and constant supply of photos on these. I hope his Internet Provider doesn't charge him by the meg.
