Default Nishijin with an Interesting Subject Matter

I just picked up my first vintage machine from an antique store today. It's a Nishijin Sophia machine with a World War II theme. This completely blows my mind as from everything I've heard the Japanese never talk about WWII. It definitely needs a restore, but I simply couldn't pass up such a uniquely themed machine.

That's No More War 2. I think there are 3 in the series. I you do a search for No more war. Might bring up some results.

I had to laugh at that machine the first time I saw one.

Understand that people in Japan would have read the kanji characters "零戦", at the top of the center, as zero-sen (Zero-Fighter) rather than interpreting them as "No More-War".

I have yet to acquire a No More War machine.

There are 3 in the series.

First one has a plane bombing a battle ship.

Second is yours with the fleet of zeros.

And third I can't quite remember what it was. But it is on a model C machine I think. (also can't find a pic for some reason.)

Anyways I have heard they are fun machines and I have been keeping an eye out for one locally.

    100 machines and counting...

I've played it a bit, it really is a fun machine. It's definitely got water damage and definitely looks like it just sat around for years. It really amazes me it works as well as it does. I certainly recognized the planes on it when I saw it. It just looked like an old machine when I first saw it in the shop, but then I saw the Zero and the writing and I knew it had to be mine. It would be really cool to get the other two. I did some searching myself and wasn't about to find any pictures of 3.

I love that no more war 3 machine. The ball rolling down the carrier deck in the center feature is really cool.

I'm basically a model A fan, but I've now finally found a Model C machine that I would buy.
