    Default Dai-ichi see-saw cover

Mine was missing, and while not the most critical component, it bugged me. So I drew one out in AutoCAD and wrote out the G-code:
    cover screen shot.jpg

    Loaded it into the router:
    cover1.jpg

Cut out the pieces. I had acrylic handy. It will work:
    cover2.jpg

Clamp them together, apply a drop of Weld-on 4, allow to dry, install:
    cover3.jpg

    Yay!

If anybody needs one, let me know. They don't take long to make.

There was a lot of noise and vibration during the cut, so if I do make another, I think I'll speed up the cutting speed, only cut half depth, and make the cut in 2 passes.

I wish I had a cnc router to cut my jackpot window when I did a Daiichi a while back. But it came out nice for hand cutting.

Thing was a pain in the butt to cut because there were so many odd angles and tabs and stuff. I have my template around here somewhere.

Thanks everyone. Sorry about the first picture. Didn't realize reducing the size would mung it up so bad.

Great idea...except I have no idea what the original would have looked like.

Kinda hard to see in the pic. But it actually pops out and isn't flat. So it has ridges around the edges.

Seeing yours is flat just put something cool in it. Make it say Daiichi or pachinko or something.
