How to Reset Maturi Penguin?

So I am brand new... like lieterally TODAY kind of brand new to this pachinko stuff... I just pick up an AS-IS Maturi Penguin, and aside from the fact that it looks "rigged" and therefore about impossible to win, I removed the glass and lit up all the ball slots at the bottom by hand. The machine went nuts about the jackpot but now quit responding to any input... Do you have to reset these things on a major jackpot? I've turned off and on again, but it seems "stuck" on jackpot light up mode...

Also, I was expecting the top hopper to release abunch of balls, but nothing came out. Is there a pay out setup I have to do?

Sorry for all the Q's but I cant seem to find a manual anywhere...

No manuals as such. And the ones that do come up are all in Japanese. I don't recognise the name. It if you can post a pic of the front and back that wood be great. Or post a link to a photo host site like photobucket, the. We can have a look for you. Oh and welcome to the board. Warning!!! These machines multiply when your not looking (or the other half isn't looking)


Oh most machines have a small reset button near the power on/off switch on the rear of the machine

Hmmm... Well, for starters, here is a photo of the machine. From what I've been reading, they are somewhat cherished. Secondly, I do not see any reset button anywhere. If I turn power off and unplug from wall it still remains "stuck" in jackpot mode once I plug back in and turn on.

It doesnt payout any balls either, but that problem can wait. I'm primarily looking to reset the thing.

Do you have the rear hopper filled with balls?

Yes. I've also cycled an entire hopper worth of balls through the machine via the white release button. All balls made it to the bottom, no problem.

I'm not entirely concerned with the machine not paying out at the moment, because I see there are three adjustable piece that I can tinker with. Problem is, I dont know how to reset the machine since filling the 10 Allwins... Currently the machine's "excited" but frozen. HOW TO "HARD" RESET?

Hot Dang! I think I got her all figured out

To reset, one has to unplug a heavier gauge horizontal wiring harness located on the right hand side, just below the clear hinged box cover. I can share a pic if people are interested. I found another wire harness (big mass of off-white wires) pretty much smack dab in the middle empties the entire machine of all balls. Again, if interested, I can upload pic.

Flipping up a little white arm on the back enables/disable the payout feature of the machine.

Anyone else who knows about this machine is encouraged to contact me. Maybe between the two of us we can assemble a operation guide thread for the Penguin?

After some tinkering, I was able to fix! Found the hard reset harness along with the "empty machine" harness that releases all balls in hopper and what not.

Payout issue was cleared up by raising a little white hook in the ball chnnel out of the way, thus "enabling" the payout feature, so to speak.

Anyone else with info on this machine that would like to hit me up is encouraged to do so. maybe between the two of us we can create user guide thread or something?!
