    Default Can not change odds, no key hole on power supply

    I purchased my first machine a few days ago and it is working normally from what I can tell. I looked up the manual for it today out of curiosity and found that the odds can be changed so the tinkerer in me went about trying to switch the odds. So far I can only find manuals and instructions on changing the odds by putting a key into the power supply and turning it, however my power supply does not have this key. It has the on/off switch on the front and a toggle switch on top of the power supply. Turning the machine on with different toggle settings does not get me into the changing odds mode. I was wondering what I am doing wrong. Also, near the odds changing button/LED number indicator on the door are two dip switches. I have flipped these and they activate different LEDs on the motherboard but I can't find out what they are for so I have left them in the positions they were in before.

    Last question, is there a way to have the machine automatically pay out on every win? I don't have that many coins so I find myself opening the machine a lot to get more.

    Thanks.

    Hello

    Can you give a little information on what model pachislo you have, name, manufacturer, etc

    If you are not sure, then pics will help the members identify the model and offer more specific advice (I believe some models have odds settings in the door, etc)

    In the meantime, Welcome to PachiTalk,

    Its a Abilit/Takasago blue Gurukun. I have attached some pictures of the power supply and odds setting button/number indicator with the dip switches I mentioned in my first post. Thanks for the welcome.

    Hello again,

    I'm not too familiar with Abilit / Takasago models, so hopefully other members will post with advice for you

    In the meantime, here is a link to a Manual in PDF format that contains lots of useful information you may find it helpful to print out and keep with your machine for future reference:

    Page 2 has info on setting Credit / Collect mode
    Page 2 also has Odds Setting info
    Page 7 is the start of manufacturer specific Info - page 10 lists Takasago but you may find it easier to look at the pics and see which is like your own set up)

    Yes, that is the one. Here is a picture of it. The links you posted did not help with the reset problem and it does not say where the button is to change the credit settings is. Also, no info on the dip switches by the odds indicator LED.

    Hello and
    Welcome to PachiTalk! ! !
    The switch on the top of the power supply is where the key switch use to be. It has been replaced with the toggle switch. Both of the dip switches in my Death Valley are set to the down position. If I remember correctly these are used to change the payout after a Big Bonus round ends. The blue button is used to change the odds.

    If the number display by the blue button is not lit when you power the machine on, turn the machine off, flip that switch then turn the machine back on. Did that display lite up? If so push the blue button to the desired setting you want. "1" is the lowest payout and the highest number is the largest payout.

    After you have selected the number you want press and hold the spin knob for 5 seconds and release. Then with the machine still powered on flip that toggle switch back to off. Let us know what you find.

    Apologies i missed off the 2 switches info from my earlier post:

    "Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

    For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on
    "

    I have tried this before with no luck and I tried it a few more times after you posted this and the number display does not light up with the switch set to either position. Also, I don't believe the display to be broken because the outside LED's do not display any differently in either switch setting and I have read that it should display something other than 00.

    Hanabi, the switches I was referring to are the ones that new in town mentioned above. I have no switches on my power supply other than on/off and the toggle on top that is supposed to let me change the odds.

    That switch is the "key" to operate the odds setting. I would pull out the power supply, open it up and check to see if one of the wires might have disconnected from the switch. (cold solder joint)

    Pic of the power supply in my Death Valley is enclosed.
