Kung Fu Panda - so what's this V trigger thing for???

So now that I have the volume thing figured out, I'm playing the game a lot more. So here's my questions (sorry for the stupid questions...I'm NOT a modern pachinko guy).

When I see CHANCE...what do I do?

When I see it refering down to the V trigger, what do I do?

I do really love this machine. Don't know what I'm doing but it blows wind by the V-trigger and sometimes vibrates. Just don't know what to do...the V trigger also has a trigger on the handle...what's that for?

It should tell you if you need to pull the stick up/down/left/right. The trigger and the chance button on top have the same function - useful if there are any times rapidfire is necessary as you can tap one hand on the chance and the other on the trigger. Muy fast. Otherwise having the same function is just a convenience.

So when you pull the stick forward/back or left/right what are you trying to determine? What is it doing?
Once again, sorry for the stupid questions!

You will get an on screen prompt when to use the joystick. I don't have the machine but they normally used in the mini games. More play needed me thinks.
