Default 1976 Shiroi Kamome. What have I got here??

Hello! Brand new to this forum, but not new to Pachinko! I have owned one for over 40 years! (Still have my original.)

Recently I dusted off my 3 Pachinkos and decided to do some research on them. Pachinko Planet helped me a lot.

One of my machines is a 1976 Nishijin Shiroi-Kamome. It has an interesting center feature that I have been unable to identify or find any pictures of one like it.

To me, it looks like Bill Cosby's character, Fat Albert. Features a chubby black male face with a huge, gaping open mouth. Inside the mouth are 5 musical notes mounted on springs that bounce around as balls pass through.

So what have I got here? Anything rare or valuable? Pachinko Planet says that these 1976 machines are uncommon in the U.S. and the only ones I have seen feature the Montreal Olympics center feature...

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not me - first time I have seen that one. That's what I like about this site - almost always something I haven't seen, so it's kind of a treat to see them all.

With cheeks like that and the musical notes in them, it looks like a Dizzy Gillespie special...

Nope. No official names call it based on what you see.

    First to Pachitalk.

That is a very unusual machine. Though I could have sworn I saw a machine almost identical very recently. (can't remember where but I know it wasn't in seattle) It is a front overflow machine and not many were made, also even less were made with the all metal upper tray.

Do start another thread and I'll go into more detail. (don't want to hijack this thread)

If you have any questions just ask. And once again welcome to Pachitalk.
