Default Pachinko Machine with Freestanding Cabinet

I just bought this for $100. A nice freestanding cabinet with Pachinko machine and ball lifter. A nice find I must say. A quick test and the machine seems to work fine, just needs a good cleaning. The ball lifter doesn't seem to want to work, but looks almost like new. It may be a bad connection in the wiring that runs both the machine and ball lifter. I think I'm going to put my Star Wars Pachinko Machine the cabinet.

Yes found on Craigslist and drove 125 miles round trip to get it. Just got the ball lifter working. I didn't realize the bucket had to be full to turn it on. It looks brand new. The cabinet is solid and made out of cabinet grade wood. It just needs a little cleanup, some touch up paint and new T-Molding.

Some horse racing themed machine. The LCD screen is working but the picture jumps and has lines running through it. It needs some work.

Eh... sell the machine for $50 and your costs are even less... Sweet deal, though. I'd personally just take the lifter out and then sell the rest for $150. Heheheheh...

Wow, you got lucky. Most of the Craigslist findings I see here in south florida are posted by people who seem to feel they have just unearthed a relic from King Tut's tomb.

I got my two Pachinkos from a member here who lived in Boynton Beach, who sold them at a very reasonable rate for their condition. But most listings I see are ridiculous. One swap shop is trying to unload a very rusted model A for $200.00 and a home owner north of me thinks their game room relic is worth $95.00 (discounted from $150.00 mind you) with a broken jackpot supply tray and heavily stained playboard.

...And don't get me started on E-Bay...

I recently saw a post where a guy had a Nishijin Model 'C' (late 70's) machine for sale that he advertised as being 'over 60 years old' and was priced accordingly.

I know a lot of it is ignorance, but a person see's a beautifully restored model A with 40+ hours of labor selling for 600.00 or more and thinks that $200.00 is a steal for their spider infested dirt trap without any consideration for the time or effort it takes for that $600.00+ machine to get to that condition.

    You got a great deal.

Yea I know some people want way too much. The machine that came with the cabinet looks like it is just going to be a parts machine. It has too many things wrong with it. I should have the cabinet fixed up in about a week and I can't wait to add the ball lifter. I bought these three machines two years ago for $125. The are vintage machines that are powered to reset on their own. I still need to clean them up yet. One is 100% working, one is 95% working and the other was broken up for parts.
