There is only one connection to unplug. It is at the left hand side at the top, that connects to the door.

Sounded more like a ball of fire...smirk... duh... Hey.. I might be willing to grab that frame. Anyone know what other cells it takes?

I could also try and "shop" that power board for you before hand. Send it to me and I'll replace the semiconductors and any mushy looking caps. Easy access to parts in these parts (Silly-cone vallley). I'd charge you my cost only, since I'd be doing it for fun. Then if it were to work, you could keep the spare frame or sell it to me/trade it for one of my working frames (looking to dish off an extra Eva1 frame).
    Woof!

Very kind of you chumsize! I have a guy here that should be able to test it out, but if he fails...I'd love for you to take a smack at it!

Yes...any help is great guys...even if I have to sell this extra frame!

OH MY GOODNESS! What a nightmare!

I know all my credentials are gone since I plugged the machine straight into the wall socket! But the story goes on!

I sent the power board to a buddy that fixes things like this all the time (flat screen TVs, computers, ect)...and as soon as he got the board he started to work on it and thinks he found the problem...which was one of the components that was on the heat sink controlling the flow of electricity. He thought everything was probably fixable on the board. In the mean time, I contacted Alkimono and Frank sent me a whole new casing, minus the cell. I got it a couple of days ago and went to put the cell in and when I tried to close the door, couldn't get it shut. Tried everything: moving cables, making sure things were snapped in, loosen the screws on the latch...I could get the bottom closed but the top was still 1/8 out and couldn't get it done.

No big deal right...take the power board out of the new frame and put it in the old frame. What could go wrong...the rest of the components probably O.K. pass the power board...right? Plugged it in and a big "POP", actual fireball, and smoke came out the back of the machine! The next board pass the power board also had bad components! I looked on that board and a long black chip with lots of connectors on the side (computer chip like) was cracked and smoked!

So I take out the power board again, but it in the frame that Alkimono sent me, tried to get the cell back in and still no luck...front door won't close. Then I noticed...the glass. The second pane of glass closest to the cell was shifted slightly...like the glue that holds in place failed and it was slightly wasn't pushed into it's double glass frame. So I swapped the glass frames and TADA! The case closed!

By this time, I was hesitant to turn on the machine...in fear that the power board could be fried...but no fuses popped and it looked fine. Plugged it in and Tom started to do his dance and all appears to be working!

What a day! Now I have to go get some air freshner! House smells like burnt plastic! Need to keep these projects in the garage where I can have a fire!
Life was so much simpler when I fixed my "single shot" machines! LOL!

Sweet Jeebus! What an epic! So looks like the original plug in did some serious damage. That or on top of everything, the transformer they gave you was wired backwards... that would be something... like what... 500v or so pumping through it?

At any rate, good you got it going. But I ain't touching that busted frame with a 10 foot pole! save it for parts for the new one... (only no electronic parts...)

The actual transformer is fine. Nothing was wrong with it.

And yes...I wouldn't trust the rest of the electronics in that frame. Maybe the shooter and a few lights, speakers and such...but I think I'm done testing!

Well... Panda meat is apparently gamey like other bears, but offensively sweet due to the bamboo diet. Add to that the constant Kung fu, and you have gamey, sweet, and tough. Yuck. Kung Pao Panda? Hmm... maybe could pull that off.

Tom (cat) and Jerry (mouse)... well, Cat tastes like chicken, and mouse tastes like rabbit. I'm sure it would make a lovely ragout with some wild mushrooms and concentrato pomodoro. Serve on wide pasta. Perfect with a fine Montepulciano.

Now if I only could find some fresh Evangelion meat...

This is the only thread I found about fuses, I have the vintage pachinkos and all have no original fuses. Anyone have an idea of what I should replace it with? Two Nishijin and one Sankyo.

depends... the correct answer is a verry small one.. 2 or 4 amps... if your going to use a 9v battery then the fuse is not really needed...
