If one of these pops up in Buffalo or area, that I could probably drive to pick up. But alas, Grandville is a touch too far from Toronto. And they don't ship to Canada.

Yep, that's me bidding! Be gentle...it will be my 10th pachi and only side tross! Very interesting. Anyone know the significance of the 5 Bells? Also, playfield background on this one is same as other non-side tross machines I have seen.

    to Pachitalk!

When you get a chance I'm sure we would all love to see some pics of your collection.

The 5 bells machine is kinda an odd one. I think it was made mainly to attract people to play it seeing it had more pockets and actions to it. (Kinda like why the power flash machines were built.) This machine is odd in the sense that the left side is green and the right is orange, usually they both match. But that brings us to why you see the same background on other machines, simply put they were cheap and used what parts they had on hand.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. And once again welcome to PT.

Also GOOD LUCK on the machine!

$28.97 estimated shipping to me. Seems like a very low estimation.

Sanyoman, I am not bidding on the machine. Was just curious about their shipping quote.

Would love to see pictures of your machines.

I have reconditioned two of these machines and I really like playing it, as it is one of the more challenging machines in my opinion. When a ball goes into any of the bell pockets, it will swing closed and not open back up until you have managed to get a ball in all five bell pockets. Once a ball has passed through each of the bell pockets, all of the pockets open up again.

    Fun machine!!

Yes, shipping estimate to me is less than $30 which seems incredibly low, but the distance is not far from me...if the shipping turns out to be a bust: R-O-A-D-T-R-I-P!

My last purchase was a three machine lot from a Craigslist seller that turned out to be a two hour drive away! Surprisingly, the wife went with me to make the pickup - I think she has caught the pachi bug too! I will try to get some pics up soon.

Here are some pics. I need to take more and better pictures for sure, and I know everyone here likes to see backs as well as fronts so I have some work to do. I think this covers all but one of my vintage pachi. Missing one has a broken glass I have not fixed so have not photographed. I have purchased in 4 different states, antique shops, Goodwill, Craigslist, flea markets. Mahruhan "BEST" is a "complete" playfield with nails, tulips, spinners, and center feature that was thrown in when I bought three other machines. Frankenpachi candidate???

Well, the 5 Bells went for over $70. I think $72 was the finally price...a little to steep for me for a machine I had not seen "in person" so "bye-bye" to that one, but it has me interested in acquiring a side tross machine!
