Default Eva 6 balls getting clogged

    Hi,

Bought a pristine unit that worked perfectly for the first few weeks and then the ball launcher got clogged. Opening up the front didn't seem to help and I proceeded to turn the unit upside down and that worked. Today I had the same problem, but didn't fix my problems. Still the balls seem stuck in the launch part of the machine. Unlike other machines I've owned, don't see how doing a serious disassemble will get me to that part of the machine. Any and all help appreciated!

I had an issue like this at one point with my Fuji OvalOne Frame - turns out there was a small bit of rubber that came off the hammer and would jam up the ball path. Because the tolerances are pretty tight it does not take much to jam up the feed ramp on some machines.

open just the glass part of the door, if you have a key turn it to the left

then look by the bottom and look for the latch to open the bottom part of the door

you should have access to the lower ball track them

Depending on how your machine was packaged for shipment, a small piece of foam, or packing peanut may be in the ball track. Like Lucky Dog said once you open the bottom portion of your machine, you can check for particles. Once you get access to the ball track, you can use some compressed air to blow out any small pieces that may be wedged by the shooter.

Just to throw this in there... I use foam/rubber shelf liner to deaden the sound of the ball collector bin. Occasionally a bit of that gets in the track.
Then I use a magnetic broom to clean up loose balls. If I'm not careful, I can sweep up, then dump into the track, a small screw or the like from my less-than-pristine floor.

    Check for bees too.

As most have pointed out, this is usually a dirt or foreign object issue.

Clean the ball tracks, and the shooter itself with a rag.

    Clean balls also help.
There is always another machine around the corner...

Can you help out with where the latch is. Opened the front part, but don't see any latches other than the connectors for the cell itself. Thanks everyone for the help.

I've seen the occasional "wrong size" pachinko ball impersonator... Not as likely a fix if your machine worked for a few weeks with no hitch.

Not sure if any of the pictures in this thread are your actual machine but you could post a few pictures of your machine; if the problem is not resolved now.
