    Default The Anime Collection

Someone asked me to post a few pics of my collection (A mixture of Hard and Softcover books, Laserdiscs, DVDs, Records, Cels, Phone Cards, etc..) and I figured with all the anime junkies here I would share the insanity. First pic is my shelf of LDs I brought back from my trip to Tokyo in 2002... Lots of Gundam, Evangelion, Yamato, Dragonar, Macross, Gunbuster, GE 999 and Initial D travelled back across the ocean with me (The silver Yamato box is the first season on LP!). The second pic is of the bigger "Roman Album" style artbooks, my bigger hardcover Yamato books w/ slipcases and my Spaceboat diecast with working sounds and lights. The last pic is the smaller books, manga and my somewhat prized possession - the 3-Volume Yamato silver book set with Nishizaki and Matsumoto's signatures inside. The anime addiction makes my Pachi addiction look harmless.

Mine would scare you... You have more Yamato stuff then I do, but I am just plain LOST...
From all the anime cels, Posters, 100s of DVDs/Blu-rays, to the 100s and 100s of anime OSTs,
to the die-cast models, not even counting all the Manga and art books... I have 4 volumes of sketch books from
all sorts of famous artists too and that meant a LOT of line waiting! I have even met Monkey Punch and have a sketch from him!
I have been around and doing this a long time and I really doubt I will ever stop... I scare myself sometimes...
Now when you add pachinko to it well you get the idea... At least I take comfort KNOWING I am not the only one...
