    Default Restoration help ???

I am currently restoring a type B machine and the cell frame is a very light cream color "Blonde Wood finish". I will be sanding it smooth. Does anyone know what type of finish this is? Its not a clear coat more like a transparent vanilla color stain.

You are right it isn't clear.

What I use is a white wash stain from minwax. I get the color parchment, it is like an exact match to the original color. I'll try to post a link later today.

    Here is a link.

Minwax Water Based Wood Stain - Stains - Minwax

It is the white tint base, water based stain. And then the color is parchment.

Here are 2 examples on machines.

Nice work Max! Can't wait to see how your current project comes out, that's a beautiful cell design, very stylized
Is it custom design or a reproduction of the original?

PS, glad you kept the original logo with the dot over the "S"

The background is my own design. I thought it would look proper with all the colors on this machine. I will post a thread about the machine when I get closer to finishing it.
