Default My Next New Hobbie : Metal Mold Casting ( Small Figures )

Well I promised some of you good people here that I would start a thread on my modest attempt to create some cool WWI figurines from the 1930's metal molds that I got from ebay .

I first tried to cast semi hard lead and I didn't do proper research ( too inpatient I guess) 1st make sure you have proper ventilation (check) , proper metal ( lead no-good in the casting community ) , and many more .
The Dunken Company Toy Casting Molds

    and for UK http://shop.princeaugust.ie/

Of course I will post photos and maybe a video in the future Enjoy and Please work Safe .
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS
