    Question First ball lifter question.

Now that I have a ball lifter do I still need a top ball hopper? Is there a way to return the balls to the machine from a payout without draining out of the bottom front and pouring them back in the top? Kind of seems to defeat the purpose of the ball lifter. Any input will be much appreciated. Thank for any help or suggestions.

I have a ball lifter on one of my modern machines. The ball lifter moves the "losing" balls from the reservoir in the bottom of my cabinet to the top tray of the machine. I have seen set ups where a tube or funnel has been set up in the front of the machine that will channel the balls paid out to the same lower reservoir so that those balls are also able to be lifted to the top however I did not set mine up that way. I will try to find some pictures of mine or take some new ones for you. Hope this made sense.

I will be happy to post some pictures of mine, however I do not think it will answer your question. I will see if I can find the old thread that had the machines that funneled the winning balls into the lower reservoir to be carried to the top with the ball lifter.

    two quick pics...

to get the balls from the front to the back would be done with some PVC tubing or something like that

With a ball lifter if you just keep playing with your won balls they will eventually all end up back at the top ready to be payed out again..
