Default Adding lighting to a Powerflash

I am wanting to add some lighting to my Powerflash. I have been toying with the idea of a RGB LED strip placed above the playfield. Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions?

This is a picture of roughly where I was thinking of running the LED strip.

I think adding light to the playfield where you were pointing will just give ya strange shadows..

In my minds eye I recall these style in coin opp ever heard of that?
Anyhoo LED's are my friend I use them everywhere, cars , trikes, bikes all my toys,
When I mod my vintage machines I love to use flashing led set ups where single lamps used to be, light shows in themselves,
A strip where you show would be cool, the color changing is an ever better Idea, I just scored a new 6 piece RGB unit at a garage sale 5.00 that does all kinds of coolness,
You might have to work with angle so they dont hit you in the eye, I don't like bright light, I feel like that gremlin.

I have thought about doing that too CS. I was planning on using basic white LED strip lights. But if you want some color maybe you should give this stuff a try. wire kits | EZ-EL.com

But I do agree with mopar that it might cast some unwanted shadows.
