    Default Any Members in Massachusetts???

I am working on a deal for a machine in Massachusetts. However the seller will not ship. I am looking to enlist the help from a Member in Massachusetts to help with pick up, packing and shipping. Otherwise I may be looking at a 9 hour drive one way. I will certainly compensate the Member for their time and effort.

Please PM me if you are willing to help.

    Thank you in advance

I don't know of any off the top of my head.

    But good luck.

Pissed me off too. I really want that machine. I have a fedex business account and told them all they have to do is drop it off at fedex as-is and they will pack and ship on my dime. They refused. It's about 10 hours each way for me too. I actually considered flying out there, getting a cab, picking the machine up, taking two blocks away, shipping it, and flying back home.

They may only end up getting 99 cents for the machine they refuse to ship.

I was hoping they would get no bids so that they would be forced to relist and offer shipping.

Damn that sucks and I've run into sellers like that before but sometimes they can be swayed though. That's an exceptionally beautiful machine.

I have never had or played a single ball. I am thinking I would like to add one to my collection though. For some reason that one was calling to me. Not a big deal though. Eventually one will pop up closer and not even sure it is a type of machine that I would really get into.

Who knows, if it stays really low, I might see if the wife would like to do a road trip.

Oddly enough, I enjoy playing single shots but their main attraction to me is their sleek, mid century design.
This one in particular I'd hang on a wall somewhere in the house as opposed to the basement. It's functional art.

I was thinking the same thing. My dining room has a bit of an oriental theme to it. I was thinking with a really nice refurbish, this machine would look really good in there.

I just found this thread and I figured maybe I could help since I live in Mass until I saw what machine you are trying to get. Unfortunately, I have been looking for one like that for a long time and probably going to make a run at it. I was actually happy they were not going to ship, so hopefully the price would stay low.
I am not trying to discourage anyone from bidding but I do have the advantage of no shipping costs.

I do agree that this machine is a piece of art and if I am fortunate enough to get it, it is going in the living room (wife said yes).

My wife and I have been discussing making it a nice road trip for us. However, with you being local and when I factor in the additional costs of the long drive and hotel room. I guess this one was not meant to be.

I think I will stay out, no sense in driving up the price for a local member.

However, the wife was kind of excited about the machine and the road trip, so who knows

Hey, feel free to bid. Don't let me stop you. I do have a limit on what I can spend and if you are willing to pay more, than I am happy for you. I know we all like to get a good deal, but it is all about building our collections and that is what makes it fun. So bid away if you are willing to make the trip.

Funny how there is no link, but we all know about the Venus pachinko machine! I like that it is a Heiwa, I've never seen a Heiwa from that era.

    About 3 hours from me.
Missed out on one similar to this one on craigslist last year.
Looks to be in good shape.

If they were willing to ship, I would have been all over this one. My wife says she is up to the road trip as long as she gets a night in Boston out of it. Just not sure I am willing to drive 9 hours one way for the machine.

I would definitely like to have a nice single ball in my collection. If I am patient, I am sure one will pop up closer to me. There was just something about that one that I really liked.

Background doesn't seem special but the rest of the machine is cool. OSO, that is interesting. I would love to see more pictures of it.

(Also I can't find it in that link you posted. I couldn't even find it digging around their site.)
