Default Purchasing first slot machine/ need help

I am going to look at purchasing my first slot machine tonight and I am not 100% sure what all I should look for or what the value of these machines are. He told me it is made by Bellco and the name of it is a Murakami. I've researched and can't seem to find anything about this machine. From what I'm told it works great and in good overall condition. Could anybody tell me a rough estimated range of what this might be worth? Any help is greatly appreciated especially considering how little knowledge I have in this field. Thanks!

    Hello

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

I'm trying to search to find info on that model but so far I can't find any Bellco machines by that name in our database?

Do you have a pic you could upload to the thread?

or perhaps double check the name??

    Hello!
I am currently on my phone and it will not let me upload the pictures right now but here is a link to the the Craigslist ad he posted. Japanese Slot Machine - $400 (Pittsburgh) - he told me that was the only name on the machine, other then that I will not know anymore until I go to see it tonight. Thank you so much for the help!

I've found a reference to this one being called 'Sarukanigatsusen' if the info is correct

then it is showing this to be a Type A pachislo manufactured by Bellco around 1997

probably a 1,2, or 3 bet token per play machine

Perhaps other members can help with a US price guide for this one or indeed the correct name if it goes by any others

So what does that mean as far as value? I apologize for my lack of knowledge he is just telling me it is rare and I don't know any better. Don't want to get taken advantage of and over pay for something due to ignorance. Once again I thank you!!

Well in my opinion he is way overpriced. Most of the machines that old even full of tokens bring around a hundred dollars. Nothing special about it and it is very old considering what is out their. If you just have to have it make sure it works and has all of the keys. You can find machines all day like that for around hundred if you are willing to wait.

On another point RARE is in the eyes of the beholder. You will find in time if you are going to buy or collect machines, especially pachislos that the music and video display monitor and age is what it is all about. Go on You tube and watch some and you will be really surprised. Four hundered dollars will buy you a brand new machine. He might of paid that price he stated when their were not many machines but they sure do not mostly go for that now. One thing that is nice is to find one close as the shipping weight is a bear on one of these machines. Don

I agree 100% with the Good Lieutenant. That machine is way over-priced.

He only lives a few minutes from my house and he actually wants to trade it to me for a cell phone I repaired. The phone is worth around $250 but I only have $100 into it. I am atleast going to look at it and if I really like I will go from there if not I've already found some that are much cheaper.

Way overpriced at $400. It's almost laughable. For that price it would have to come with 3000 tokens.

If I was going to spend $400 on a Machine I'd get one from a Dealer. It would have a lot more bonus features, warranty and tokens.

Here's a link to one Dealer. Take a look and see what $400 can get you. http://akimono.com/
