    Default Battle Counter Install

I got my Sky View battle counter in the mail today. It has more wires on it than I thought there would be. From searching other posts on installation of the battle counters, I hooked 24v to the red and yellow wires and the counter powers on. From there I'm stuck. The terminals on the stop board are labled cn2 cn3 cn4, (newer style board) but none of the connections on the battle counter will match into these terminals. Looking at the picture is there a way to tell I got the right counter? Pachislo vs Pachinko? Any help will be great Thanks

my guess is pachinko. Did you get it from a Yahoo Japan auction? If so, post a link, we might be sure from that.

Give us a close up pic of the little box and the front,

Pachinko and Pachislo counters can't be used on each other machines.

Yep, Thats one for a pachinko. It has words like スタート、大当 and 確変

A pachislo should be labelled regular and big bonus or RB and BB

Fudge, I had a feeling by looking at the counter it was the wrong one. I contacted the seller to see if they have the right one.

Does somebody want to trade a Pachislo battle counter for a Pachinko battle counter?

In the picture of the counter, left of 確変 I can see RB, I believe this counter is for pachinko and pachislo alike, maybe there is a way of switching them? I know Jan told me that someone tried the counter on both machines and it worked...

Can't find any info on the makers website, just current models.

But none of their current range use an expansion board, Looks like the wiring goes straight from the counter to the machine.

You might be able to get a Japanese manual here

But don't seem to list your counter スカイビュー UF産業

Thanks for the info, Jan informed me as well that someone got it working on a pachislo machine. With the connectors that are on there it looks like it's for pachinko. I did see the RB on it, but no BB.

i do like the idea of buying a modern pachinko machine, but I don't have the room.

You can try to open up the main body and see if there are any writing on the circuit board

This is the inside of the counter. The small board in the second picture is tucked under the main board

I do not see any switches or jumpers on the main board. I have wiring harnesses installed at CN1,CN2,CN3,CN4. There is nothing connected to CN5. On the main board CN4 is connected to the smaller board installed in the unit to CN1 terminal. There is a CN2 on the smaller board that has no wires on it.
