Uniform Glass size? Not so much...

I read somewhere, perhaps even on this Forum, that all vintage glass was the same size. 16" X 16" X 1/16th. Good thing I checked. Both of my Nishijin Type B's are the above mentioned size. My Old/Modern Sankyo's glass (not technically vintage I guess) is 16" X 15.5" X 1/16th and my Nishijin Type A recycler is a whopping 16" X 18" x 1/16th. The only things uniform seems to be the width and the thickness.

Is there a table somewhere that shows the different makers/models glass sizes? Or is it just take a measurement of each machine and go from there?

I have just measured for each machine and had the glass cut.

I came to the conclusion that there are variances when trying to swap Plexiglass to test a new machine. I knew that single ball machines had larger glass, but seems minor differences between machines. I'm not sure if, say...all Nishijin Model B's have the same size glass. I only have 1 Model B. I try to collect different examples of brands, and different operating mechanisms on the back...so I have come to expect variances in size.

There is no uniform glass size for all machines. But there is a uniform size for each brand's model. So all nishijin B's have the same size, while all A's have the same size but B's & A's don't have the same size.
