Default Anyone want to share a wholesale lot ??

I was thinking that if we have enough folks interested/commited we could pool our resources and buy a wholesale lot of Pachinkos for cheap and share in the spoils. I am personally interested in 3-4 machines and if I can get these for under $100 each...it would sure be better than competing with our clan during the last 5 min of bidding.

Anyone want to suggest a process or interested in co-ordinating this...

Sorry, there are no cheap good working lateest model machines. the cost of the machine, than to import, than transportation, than make 110v ready, glass, cleanning, who takes the dead ones ? You would have twice that plus.

    IMHO

A point Have you tried contacting TA or SlotsUSA and see what they would sell you a untouch machine off the boat for ? That might be the route to go ?

You just have to be patient with your ebay bidding. I have six slots now and other than my latest(The Terminator), I have spent less than $100.00 not including shipping on them. Also I would check out http://www.pachislo.com/ and their weekly specials. I got my Don Don King machine from them during a weekly special for $89.00 and was very happy with how nice of a condition it was in. Also check out http://www.stealthhomeamusement.com/. From what I have read here Milt's scratch and dent machines are a great price and look as good as machines some other vendors send out as regular stock machines. Just be patient and the right deals will come your way.

    monaghj :

You are talking about Pachinkos right? If so then as I mentioned in another thread, Joe at SlotUsa will work out a 6 Pachinko pallet deal for you. The only thing is that he was telling me it would be their choice and that is not agreeable to most people.

To import a 20' container of what maybe 300 Pachinkos(?) would be a large cash outlay and would take quite a undertaking. But apparently it is done by dealers here in the US and somehow they have found a way to make a profit after all the refurbishing and import hassles they have gone thru. I would say that unless you are committed to making this a business that you would be better off trying to coordinate a deal with an existing importer/dealer/distributor here in the US.

I would be interested in a few Pachinkos in a deal that allows some kind of choice of machine.

Let us know what you find out.

My bad. Miss read the pachinko part of the post. I agree with arby and azlew. The cost and work involved in getting them ready take quite a bit. From what I have read they don't look very good at times straight from the crate. Plus, correct me if I am wrong, you don't just get all new premium machines of your choice in a crate.

That's the way I understand it also. Yet if you order a container of Pachislos from Japan you apparently can choose the models you want.
The biggest hassle to me would be having to replace the glass on the pachinkos.
It's best to just let the dealers here get their markups and go that way. At least we kinda of have an idea of what they are paying to get them and refurbish them. What they should be retailing for, is a discussion for another time....

dealers like slotusa may split a container between pachislos and pachinkos.

like 150 pachislos and balance of container pachinkos, tokens and balls.

rather than tieup all there money in a container full of them.

texas auctions seems to buy whole container full.

I don't know if anyone has checked but a 20' container holds approx. 2590 pachinkos. Could start a pretty good parlor with that many!

Somehow that number of 2590 machines in a 20' container just doesn't seem right.

That would be stacked two high by three wide and 215 feet long. How big is a 20' container inside ? Can you stack higher than Two ?

Went and ran a rule around:
Two average machines match up Head to toe, 20" wide x 20" deep x 33" tall.
The width and tall will not very, it would be the depth that will very 2 or 3" +/-.

A little over 8' wide, about 100" high and of course 20' long.

Edit: I just drive 'em, don't load 'em! Mine's a 53', still wouldn't hold that many. Time for me to go back to school!

I guess the only way to get 2590 machines into a 20' container then,
is to run them through a trash compactor first.

    W O W !

What a rip, I rent three bedrooms with Fireplace and Pool for $750 and sometime it is a wait to get it rented.
How many Sq. Feet ? for that price, it got to be huge.

Yeah, I remember my dad's place was ninety minutes from work and $1400 a month for two bedrooms...eighteen years ago. California is crazy!
