Lord Of The Rings Not Paying Out

Hi folks,
I have just bought 2 pachinko machines for my kids Christmas,and when my youngest boy was playing the lord of the rings one he got 14 fever rounds. The only thing is no balls paid out at all.The payout hopper is full and as i am a complete noob i have no idea how to fix this problem. Any help would be most appreciated.

first you may want to check that there is no ball jam or blockage at the back of your pachinko that is preventing it from paying out

Forgot to ask if there is an error code # showing in the LED readout at the back of the machine

located roughly around the lower right hand side at the back

Yep, The error code 3 shows up until i unplug the motor then it changes to error code 2.I have had a look for any blockages and couldn't find any. Also i had another fever run while i had the motor out but still connected and there was no movement in the motor.

If you head over to www.pinballdave.com, he's a fellow member here and has a great site. You can download a manual for the Victory frame there that the LOTR comes in. The manual will tell you the error codes and clearly show you the items to check for that error code. Also there is a fault finding section so you could follow that for the no Ball Payout Fault which suggests a few things to check.

I had a similar problem with some machines that hadn't been used for a few years, I had to clean the sensors on the ball track by the payout motor and manually moved the motor round a few times as it was stiff, that soon freed up the problem. Some frames allow you to put a screw driver on the end of the payout motor shaft so that you don't have to take the assembly apart.

Thanks for that Nibsy, i have now sorted the problem. It was the sensor, it was not connected properly and when i fixed this and reset the machine all was well.&nbsp;<br>Thanks for the website too.Baz

No problem, that's what we're all here for. I had a lot of help from all the forum members here with my first few machines but with manuals and a little experience you'll soon sort most problems and find pachinko and pachislo generally reliable.
