I am still alive and pics of my new Haori
My Christmas present to myself this year are these 3 Haori. All 3 are silk and were made in the early 1930's and 2 have hand painted linings.

There are some minor stains and ink transfers on the linings but the fact I was able to work out a deal for the set for less than I expected to spend on just one has me thrilled. Now I just get to wait for them to get here from Japan

And these are the 2 I already have. The blue one is the first one I got. It is pre war but I don't know for sure when it was made. It is a silk blend with silk lining and sadly a tad too small. The brown one is from the 50's and is a blended fabric with a silk blend or synthetic lining with cute shrimp screened on it.
