Christmas Crab and The Adventure of the New TV!!

Once upon a time on an island way up north lived a crab, but not just any crab, a Christmas Crab..but you probably already knew that But what you may not have known is that one of the Christmas crabs favorite things to do is watch Christmas specials on TV..and on the island where he lives Christmas specials start airing on December 1st..There's one on every day for 24 days, but this year there was a problem..

Have you noticed that the Christmas Crab seems to have some sort of problem right before Crabmas every year..weird huh???

Anyway, this year the problem was that the Christmas Crabs TV wasn't working!! Now you're probably thinking how could that be?? Well it might be because Christmas Crabs TV was from 1983 or it could be because no matter how many times they were told not to, the prawns just wouldn't stop playing prawn ball in the Crooked Castle!!

You may also be thinking who cares if his TV is broken?? Well I'll tell you who cares..I do and you should too, and here's why.. You see, Christmas specials make the Christmas Crab happy and the happier the Christmas Crab is the better the salami he delivers tastes..and you do Not want to taste the salami when the crab has been sad.. So it's very important that the Christmas Crab sees his Christmas shows...

...His DVR is set and has been recording since Dec 1 (that's three days ago in this story) but he has no way to watch them and he's getting sadder by the day.. Salami!!! more like bologna if you ask me!! Ok, sorry, i'll just sit here quietly and listen to the rest of the story...and ravel in the glory of my victory over the Pit Bulls!!

Well you might be asking yourself, Why doesn't the Christmas Crab just watch the shows at someone else's house or online?? Well the reason for that is..ummm..it's aaaa..something to do with magic..yeah, that's it!! Now you also may be asking yourself, Why doesn't he just buy a new TV?? Well that's easier said than done on Crabmas Island.. You see Amazon won't deliver things to the island ever since the ''incident'' and there is only one department store on the island but they haven't gotten any new stock since 1973..but that's a whole other story.. There is a TV store on the island, but it's on top of Wonder Mountain.. They do have good prices but they don't take checks..but that's not a problem, Christmas Crab has cash Anyway you may now be asking (you sure do ask a lot of questions) Why doesn't he just go up there and buy a new TV?? Well it's a very steep mountain with no roads or trails to the top and you may not know this but crabs aren't really made for climbing snowy mountains.. Well then why not just fly up there?? That would work if not for the force field that was put up around the mountain by the Winter Witch after the ''incident'' that prevents magic flying animals from getting close to the store at the top of the mountain and as you already know all flying animals are magic on Crabmas Island.. So what to do?? Well...

Well..Well what?? Well they climbed!! They..They who?? Christmas Crab found 2 "volunteer" climbers to climb with him!! He also found some rope and some supplies and stuff and headed up the mountain to get to the TV store before it closed for Crabmas!!

So they began to climb as it started to snow hard.. It looked like a pretty bad storm was coming, but that wasn't going to stop them..They just kept on climbing!!

The prawns look like they have a little bit of freezer burn...quick, drop them into this pot of boiling water with some Old Bay seasoning...uhm...I mean, Old Bay freezer burn remedy, yeah, that's it ...freezer burn remedy...

And they climbed..They climbed for 46 hours strait without stopping!! They climbed past the Iridescent Ice Cliffs where the snow bats roost and they climbed past the Wiggle Caves where the snow caterpillars call home.. They even climbed past where the Rainbow Goats live, but they still weren't to the store yet!!

After three full days of climbing they finally made it to the top of Wonder Mountain and there it was..Wonder Mountain TVs & More..And despite the big winter storm, the world hadn't ended and the TV store was still open!!

"Welcome to Wonder Mountain TVs & More", said a friendly salesman named Piggy as they entered the store.. You all must be cold and hungry after your long journey up here, would you like some hot coco to help you warm up or maybe some sweet baklava?? No thank you said Christmas Crab..We are in sort of a hurry said one of the prawns.. We need to get a new TV quick, we are running out of time to watch Christmas specials, said the other prawn..

Well we have the best selection and the best prices in town.. Well duh, thought everyone, after all they're the only TV store on Crabmas Island!!

Anyway, Piggy and the other salesmen helped the Christmas Crab find the perfect TV while the prawns had hot chocolate and once they paid for the TV (in cash) they asked "so when will it be delivered??" Well said Piggy..Because of this big storm, the soonest we could get it delivered would be January 6.. WHAT??? The Crab and prawns were shocked..They had come all this way, found the perfect TV and it was all for nothing it seemed..

There had to be a way to get the TV back to the Crooked Castle, there just had to be..They came all this way and Crabmas still might be ruined!!

There must be a way to get it delivered on time..Right??
