Did some poking around and found a couple others like this on YJA... Apparently there's a whole category I've been neglecting - "Big dot" moderns... Basically chunky dot-matrix displays that replace the LCD's on the others. I guess they aim for more variety than video content...

There's one with an animatronic big-ass steam locomotive on it that i've got my eye on...

here's is a video of one I thought about getting until I saw it got a low rating on pachi vista,
even so, its really cool looking! called Gold Fever (very good example of the Dot Matrix style) it starts showing good stuff around the 2:50 mark

Sweet video... skipping to 5 mins in... then at 6 mins its ape$hit time...


( I don't even want to guess what the little brown oscillating protrusion betwixt the legs is...)

and this one is on YJA too... Not sure about buying there, but I can sense that I'll be getting one of these monstrosities eventually... The sheer ridiculous amount of noise and clatter makes it inescapable.
