    Default Stepper Motor Maint.

I have read via the search function on spraying these LIGHTLY with some silicone or eletronic sprayer. One of Arby's posts states he sprays them in the front opening and the back opening after removing the reel from the motor. All that I can follow. I have removed the cage from my Gold God, and started to remove the individual reels, but got a little nervous and decided to look here for some pics. There was a good walkthrough at one point apparently, but the link is now dead. Does anyone have any pics about reel disassembly for cleaning/lubing the motors?

I would recommend just leaving the reel motors alone unless they are REALLY bothering you. I found after spraying Fubuki motors with a little silicone, that actually turned out louder than what they were before. As has been said before, if it aint broken dont fix it(I learned that the hard way). But of course it is your machine and your right to do what you want with it so just put my comment into consideration. Happy slotting.

Easy to post in the wrong area. Mods are on duty to move 'em. Not to worry. Heck, I've done it myself many times.

    Not a biggie.

Is this in the wrong area? It says mods and technical issues.

It was oringinally in the PACHINKO mods and technical issues. It has now been moved into the PACHISLO mods and technical issues.

Are these motors expensive to replace? Or is it more a matter of not being able to get new ones?
    Just curious.....
