Just guessing, but it looks like one of Emmadog's machines. It's also located in the same city he lives in.

I kinda get why emmadog is quietly going about this (and why he recently sold another one off-forum too).

After going through all the effort (and huge expense, it must be said) to locate, organise, import and fix these machines and then customise them to his own specs, the very last thing you might want is to have to offload them for a few dimes to some good forum friends. I mean that sincerely - we all know we don't get top dollar for items we sell within those groups, as we are kind of 'doing a favour' everytime we do. I know this first-hand with my own locally, and I can prove it for all the great deals I've been given by people on this forum!!! Thank you all, btw.

emmadog once sent me, unasked, a beautiful book on pachis that was quite hard to come by. Unfortunately, it was one of those few books sent by post that never made it across the seas in one piece (and whatever desert island it did land on, I hope they are enjoying it!)

Basically, we all retain the right to buy and sell machines as we like and I hope you make a bunch off this one mate (although, selfishly, I'd prefer it to go somewhat cheap on eBay)

    /end sermon
There is always another machine around the corner...

I just hope I don't have to shell out as much coin for this one as I did for that Twin Tales... Cuz this time it's my bucks, no bacon-producing ghost-buyer. That being said... No rush... Just really want an arepachi to round out the collection. Others will come around, I suppose. Shouldn't be hasty

Tho if emmadog wants to maximize his earning potential, he'd have it end around 2am Pacific on a Friday... When I am at my most... Uh... Susceptible.

Well said Candyflip. For this one I just wanted the free market to decide its fate. I may actually recoup a fair portion of my investment but I highly doubt all if it or someone may get a great deal relative to the associated costs of one of these gems and its importation and refurbishment.

You certainly deserve every dollar that the machine brings at the auction. There is no question that it is a special machine. Plus your attention to detail in the restoration process is outstanding.

Best of luck with the auction.

Not to mention that when is sells for every dollar it is worth, it (hopefully) will improve the value and collectability of the other arrange ball machines we have.

Best of luck with your sale. Whoever wins the auction is going to receive a high quality product!!

I'd like to see it sell for over $600, but I don't think it will top $1,000. Hopefully there will be lots of snipes at the end.

Well I know a powerflash that went for $1057 on ebay and this is alot nicer machine, it works and the powerflash was a pig in a poke, and their are more powerflash machines in the states than their are arrangeballs.

Taking all of that in to consideration in my opinion you are a little low. Maybe I am wrong but I would say it will easily go over a thousand.

The main reason is that if you bought this machine in Japan on Yahoo and you had it shipped over here you would be shocked at what the final bill would be. Yes their are cheaper ones to be bought on YJA but their is no gauantee that they even have all of the parts in them. Good Luck on your sale Emmadog.

I'll say under $1000, given the economy.

Let's say...hmmm... $798.06 (but hope you get more)
