Yes, it's a lot of fun. I wish I had more room, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I haven't seen my pool table in 2 years, but it makes a great Pachi holder

i had a few inquires but shipping at a UPS store seems a little steep right now...$150
Anyone have a couple pachinko boxes they could break down and ship? Not sure if you can just ship a box, but its an idea!

I JUST mailed one out to to Indiana from Philadelphia and it cost me $75 using UPS. I DID have an old slot-pachinko box and their rubber.
It made it to its destination perfectly...

The UPS store I believe makes a "little" profit on the packing! I should just ask them how much for a box, bring it home and pack it?
Slot-Pachinko always had real strong boxes, but I've gave them away throughout the years.

be carefull on the size of the box..

when shipping things like a pachinko i have shiped them for under a hundred several times.. and some times the price just shoots up.. when i ask why they always say weight.. but if i cut the boxes down and inche or two the price drops back down to normal..

my point is Size matters

I shipped a machine about a year ago. Initial quote was around $200 for packing and shipping. I got some advice from some members and picked up a bicycle box for free from a bike shop. Cut it down in size and was able to ship for around $75. Mopar is absolutely right about the dimensions of the box making a huge difference.

in an effort to make it as easy as possible on the seller who was in pa., i offered him to take the machine to a local pack and ship and i would pay all packing and shipping charges to california. the machine was enclosed in a wooden frame. the frame did ad weight but would protect the back during shipping. i did not want to lose this machine over an extra $100.00 to pack it up. it did arrive in one piece. flat screen tv boxes can work too. i have not yet had to ship a machine but will heed the advice. i have had the good fortune of being schooled on pachinkos by mopar for the last couple of years. he has refurbished well over 20 machines for friends and family.
