    Default Sankyo Wanted

I recently got a Sankyo Wanted Pachinko machine for free. I know nothing about these machines plus its all in japanese. i plugged it in, and I think everything is working fine. The front glass is broken, and I only have about 10 balls for it. Does anyone know where I can get a manual for it? how bout the other parts I already listed? Has anyone ever played one of these machines. because I don't know what any of the buttons do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to PachiTalk!

"Wanted" looks like a great machine. It is one that I am keeping an eye out for. You will definitely want more balls for the machine. Here is a link on eBay for a company I usually order from.

I am assuming this is the machine you have:

You will need to get a replacement piece of glass. I think I remember ShadowseerKim (a member here) replaced the glass in machine not too long ago that had the round glass. I have never had to replace glass in a modern machine, so I won't be much help there.

I have a machine in the same (though cash version) frame... If it has the same front glass, its a double pane plastic round piece that's sealed all around and has a couple mounting points. I'd suggest going to a plexiglass or acrylic plastic place in town (A google of "custom plastic atlanta" gave me a ton of hits) and have them try and replace the front and back plastic pieces (bond to the existing ring) rather than have them fabricate the whole thing, which would likely be expensive. Just a thought - need to replace mine soon, or at least unseal it and clean due to fogging between the panels.
    Woof!

Wanted is a neat machine with good action.. (I used to own one)

im guessing the buttons your asking about are for the ball loan system... to get those buttons working you will want a Dongle.. hear is a Vid

Wow Thanks everyone for the quick and informative responses. I have ordered some balls for the machine off of ebay, no luck on the glass yet, but I took most of the facial pieces off and gave it a good deep cleaning. It runs like a top now. any suggestions on how to sell this thing when I finish my repairs, and a reasonable value for this particular machine?

While I am a complete rookie to refurbishing pachinkos, I found that by going to a local glass shop, acrylic plastic that could approximate the size of the glass opening worked perfectly well. I have nieces and nephews that are small children that visit regularly (and that are notorious for horseplay) and found that the acrylic is very durable for this purpose. Furthermore, some machines have 2 slots for 2 separate panes of glass // acrylic & if you are around a bunch of rough housing, fun loving kids // adults, I would highly suggest getting both panes. Each pane cost me about $10-$20 for my rectangular Sankyo Flying Carpet and Nishijin Super Deluxe Model B machine, but it was worth the effort to have them made!

I brought a second hand glass unit in Japan and had it shipped. That's the best option but not the cheapest.

This unit came to my house about 10 weeks ago.

I had both panes replaced with regular glass.

The glazier said one pane was tempered the other laminated. I went the cheap route.

It was $58 to remove all old glass and silicone, and cut and install new panes.

Could have done it a lot cheaper if I wanted to handle the broken glass, but I left it to the pros.
