I'm from Galveston, TX but live in Arkansas now.

Arkansas has the craziest weather I've ever seen! One day it's shorts and tee shirts, dress the same way the next day and open the door to 30's cold! Miserable! The monsoon starts in November and ends the next year in August. I'm growing webs between my toes. :o

Now Galveston weather, that's another strange thing. A little hot and humid most of the time until a Blue Norther rolls in. The temp drops into the high 40's/low 50's and you can't put on enough warm clothes! Give me that kind of weather any day compred to the rain, tornados, snow, ice, or a combination of all of these in a 24 hour period here. :burnout: But I'm too old to pack up and leave now. :17:

I suppose a lot of us complain about the weather no matter where we live.

    I do!

Move to Cranberry PA. Never any flooding, the snow came in handy to keep the coronnas cold while I was kicking back in the hot tub. Having moved from Calgary, Alberta Canada the weather here is nothing to ***** about. Seven (lucky) months of Golf....vs three.

    monaghj,
Is that Cranberry Twp or Cranberry the town? Either way I think we are neighbors.
Dang I think PA is taking over the boards, that makes how many now? 10-12?

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

Hey ARBY, why not just get a waterproof keyboard and when you spill coffee on it, just run it through a little warm water. Sounds like the right fix for you since you said you went through 3 keyboards this week. Here is a good one...

    Hope this helps.

Cranberry Twp (subburbia) of Pittsburgh. Its just over the Allegany/Butler county line so that our propery taxes are 50% of what Allegany residents pay. Our sales tax is 6% vs 7% for stuff you can't buy online. My commute however is 35min each way...so I talked my wife into letting me buy a spyder on the basis that I should have some fun.

Have you seen the prices Pool City is charging for Pashilos... Criminal !! (some as high as $499).

We have cats....miserable things that leave hair on my pool table despite it being covered....miserable things that don't have the consideration to spit up their hairballs on the hard wood. They seem to like carpet for that. Miserable things that gallop though the night chasing things only they can see. Cute Pitter patter my ***
