Hello from Springfield,Il
my name is John and i was born and raised in springfield.
i am 46 years old and starting to get into vintage things.
i now have a pachinco game along with a pepsi bottle machine and a very old cash register.
I found this site looking for answers about my machine ( thanks google) anyway i hope to learn alot on here as i am a complete newby.

Welcome toI also love vintage things, especially complex mechanical machines. I would love to see some pics of your old cash register! Here is an old slot machine I picked up about a year ago, you might find interesting.brains beer 016.jpg brains beer 003.jpg It is almost all mechanical...but does have some electrical stuff. Feel free to post pics, and ask questions. We have a great community of knowledgeable members...we love getting new members to our family!

HI John, I just joined since researching & hubby came home with slot machine. hahaha We are the same age & live South of you near Scott Airforce Base in SO IL. Reading through these replies, I see there's a museum up there by you. We will have to check it out when in the area. We love anything old. I was in the gaming industry for many years in food & beverage. I have worked at 2 Horse Tracks & 3-4 casino's. Pretty cool. Well, I saw you were from IL so I wanted to say hello. Take Care.
