    Default Bisty looney tunes pachinko!

    Hello fellow pachinko lovers!

Ive been watching the site for a while but yet to post. Ive collected a couple sankyo modern machines in the past 6 months which i play very frequently. Ive found a bisty looney tunes pachinko near me that im interested in picking up. The price the seller asked was 350 which i believe i can talk down. I was curious if anyone has ever played this machine and there inputs on it. This seller also has the bisty star wars machine for 700 which is out of my price range, yet i know they are very rare.

    Thanks for the input

Welcome to Pachitalk! Personally I would prefer the Looney Tunes over the Star Wars machine. Looney Tunes is on my list of machines I am looking for. Star Wars doesn't really seem to be that rare. The theme does make it fetch higher money due to collectors.

    Thank you for your response!

Do you think 350 is a good price for the looney tunes?

Seems high to me. I do tend to look for bargains though.

    Hi There

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

Which Star Wars is it? if it's the 'Advent Vader' one, then I would say, in my opinion, that there are probably less of that one around then there are of the original Star Wars 'R2D2' model.

But Looney Tunes sounds like an awesome fun theme too,

I suppose it all depends which theme is most appealing to you? and of course price may be the deciding factor, especially if you are wanting to add more to your collection

Sooo... I bought it and im very pleased with it

The only thing im lil bummed on is it has 2 volume control knobs, yet the only thing they do is turn turn either the left or right speaker on.
Other then that this machine is mint condition.

That's a great looking machine. Looks like it would be fun to play.

After watching the video, it looks like your potentiometers may be wired incorrect. Yours are wired to posts 1&2. The wires should be wired to posts 2&3. I'd try moving the wire on post 1 to post 3 and see if that works better for you.

If not, then they are probably shot, as Drunkencalm mentioned.

    Here's a link to some that I use. 500 Ohm Potentiometer 023-500

I read in an old post by daverob, that it's better to try and get pots rated at 0.5W or higher. 500R is a good value to get too

Good choice! I bought my Looney Tunes a year ago and still love the darn thing to death. When I bought it, I didn't realize that it's based on the movie "Back in Action," but it doesn't matter. It's still Looney Tunes and a blast to play.

Not to try to start trouble, but... Did you know that there's also a Looney Tunes pachislo to go with your pachinko? If you find one, buy it. Trust me on that. ;-)

I'm watching the seller's video, and all I can say is that he should get a job as a used car salesman. He has an interesting sales pitch! Lol! (Extremely rare... THE only one... Won't say how I got it...)

If you can't find a Looney Tunes, I'd *HIGHLY* recommend a Tom and Jerry. It's also an excellent machine!

Tom & Jerry looks cool but I have always loved Looney Tunes even before I ever got into pachis.

I have to agree there. I grew up on Bugs Bunny, but I also did watch some Tom and Jerry in the day. Keep in mind that some people from Warner Brothers also did work for Tom and Jerry (Tex Avery and Chuck Jones...) So, it'd be almost like a tie-in to a Looney Tunes machine! ;-)
