Is there something like a screw that is rolling around in the reel?

I had the same problem with one of my machines. If they are back lite reels check and make sure none of the lights have come loose in the reel

checked found no loose screws or light bulbs rolling around in the reels, but took off the tape i found holding the spacers that go between the reels that where helping to hold in place the black plastic snap fasteners to the reel cage. lossened all the snap locks and retightend in different orders tweaked the spacers and held my breath. it seems to have cleared up the problem. i think it's the reels wobbling back and forth when spinning that rubs against the spacers, seems their is not to much clearance between the spacers and reels.so it's kind of touchy .so far i'm hoping this stays fixed thanks for your suggestions. nice machine but requires patience and tweaking.like they say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

From my experience Giga Fevers backlight brackets are easily dislodged. I've had 2 and BOTH upon arrival had 1 or more backlights loose.

The reels have to come out to put them back into place correctly. If you didn't take the reels all the way out I suggest you do so.

Just unclip the circuit board that runs the length of the reels on top (back) then each reel has 2 push type fastners (top & bottom). Then they just slide out. Once out make sure the white plastic backlight housing inside the reel is snapped securely in place. Then put the reel back and you won't have another problem (unless you man handle the machine or ship it again).
