What do i need to power this thing up?

I just got ahold of a
Sankyo
Stellar
New Model 2000 Version
"High Grade"
"7&15"
Pachinko Machine
i believe the Unit was built in 1994
So here is my question

I have no power plug for this unit. What does it operate on?
Does it use 110v AC does the Ac cord need a 24v AC transformer before going to the machine?
Guy i got it from said just attach a lamp cord to the two red cords on the back... I did that and got all sorts of sparks??? Blew a small ceramic disk capacitor on the board that is located under the clear plastic cover, i went to radio shack and got what i think is a proper replacement and soldered it in.


can someone point me in the right direction???

Me too its apparently a "Fever Girl" Themed machine, i the overhead lights come on, and the launch motor will kick out balls but, i cant get any of the spinners or the screen to come on.

Does anyone have any advanced information?
There is also no sound, or Board lights coming on

You wouldn't get any sound till a ball drops in the start pocket.


If you got it connected to a 24vac transformer rated at about 5A or higher. Start with basic tests.




Fill the back top tank with about 200 balls. Open the glass and drop a ball into the start pocket under the screen. Do you get any balls payed out to the front tray. Or. Any lights or sounds from the frame.


You already said the shooter works.


Also with the power disconnected at the wall socket. Trace the power going into the machine, follow the path of the circuit boarded and leads to see if there are any fuses blown. You might have to unscrew some to get a proper view. Also check out this thread
