    Default Popeye questions.

It there any type of "guide book" for the full LCD screen Popeye explaining how to get through the different levels and other tips of playing? Had a blast playing it last night but had no idea what most of the scenes on the screen meant.

In the arcade industry we have what's called an "attract mode" where the game runs through some type of demo to entice people to play it. I saw a video online of a full screen LCD Popeye in what looked like an attract mode but I can't figure out how to get my machine into this mode. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all your help everyone. I'm already looking at adding a bunch of these machines to my home arcade before the end of the year.

    Hello!

I am not an expert at all with the modern machines and I don't have much experience with them, however I have owned two and both had an attract mode that initiated when the machine was turned on. There wasn't much sound involved, but there were snippets of the video that played and lights that flashed to give you an idea of what the game was about.

Hopefully one of our "modern" machine experts will be along shortly to address your questions.

Also, have you searched the PachiTalk Research Center (from the main forum screen) for a manual? There are lots of machine manuals and documentation in that section of the site, so it may contain what you are looking for (or it may not )

I thought if you left the machine for a few minutes of non-play it should go into attracted mode. On the vid screen anyway. Found a promo pack. (in Japan) ¢£09¡¡¥Ý¥Ñ¥¤¡Ê¥¹¥í¥Ã¥È¡Ë Ÿ¼¨²ñ¸ÂÄꥻ¥Ã¥È - Yahoo!¥ª¡¼¥¯¥·¥ç¥ó - Yahoo!¥ª¡¼¥¯¥·¥ç¥ó

Not sure if it's the same popeye.
