I think it is a 3 Star machine. Very few of them were imported and most were turned into computer pachinkos. Kinda cool, I have never seen one like it.

    100 machines and counting...

Ask for a pic right above the ashtray. Looks like that is where the name brand is. Which is also common location for 3 Star.

I actually haven't decided yet. I travel to Austin 4-6 times a month so it's a tempting side trip.

From what we've learned from Max, it looks like the side trip might be worth it

Missing: Jackpot cover (no biggy); See-saw Cover (no biggy); and Track cover (might be able to get a replacement).

Looks like a nice machine. Though I wouldn't pay asking price for it, IMO.

The "tempting" side trip for me, at the moment, is to go for the Maharaja in Katy, TX. It's a 5 hour round trip when I'm in Austin; 10 hour round trip from where I live.

Alpha, that is a nice looking vintage! I especially like the front ball feeder tray! The round viewer window, and tray looks to be cast aluminum. Not common features, but out there. Looks different when all the others have plastic trays. If so, it will polish up nice with a good metal polish like MOTHERS! I,ll bet that the front tray drops down like a tailgate! If nothing else, other than what Max noted, bothers you...I wouldn't let the asking price bother you too much, but if you can get it for $50... GREAT! I rarely let balls influence my decision, as they are rarely in good shape. I always pick out the good ones, then shake the rusty ones in an old sock to knock off the rust dust, then pour them into the rusty ball can. I then use them to test and troubleshoot old machines. If you are interested in another vintage machine, you may want to take a closer look!

I wouldn't care. If you want it, go for it.

I look at it as first come first serve.

But don't wait too long. LOL.

Is that the "Lions Balloon Festival"?

It's suppose to rain all weekend.
