    Default Pachinko Nishijin SuperDX Question...

I apologize I am new at this... I have a Nishijin Pachinko machine I aquired awhile back. I now want to get it cleaned up and working. I read alot of the Threads about A, B & C <not sure which mine is B maybe?> as well as alot of the "SuperDX's" are Sophia...which should be on the back. Mine only says Nishijin... I also can't find where the date may be. If anyone can offer any suggestions it would be Greatly APPRECIATED! I have attached some pics.

What you have there is a 1971 Nishijin model A. I can't see the front at the moment to tell you the factory it was built in or the theme of thhe machine.

If you have any questions just ask. and once again welcome to PT.

Okay I can see the front now.

    Actually you have a 72- 73 Model A.

The theme is the 12 pockets.

    Take a look at these.

Suggestion, put a few balls in the reward tray; if they come out the bottom of the machine, you need to close the lever that is near the white plastic roof.

It looks like all the parts are there and in the correct position.

Put about 200 balls in the back, top tray. Some should make their way down to the back, middle tray. Put about 50 balls in the front, top shooting tray and start fliping the handle.
    It should work.

There are some good written instructions available for the model A and a few excellent links noted above...

Be careful, machines tend to multiply...

OK... Another question... Any idea where to get replacement parts? The replacement I need is the Rubber piece the ball hits after hitting the "flipper". The one there now is all cracked and hard as a rock.

    BTW.. I ordered & recieved
500 balls... cleaned up machine and works... well just a couple more tweaks are needed.

I have found rubber feet in the parts drawers at my local ACE Hardware that are approximately the same size as most of the Pachinko bumpers. These are the kind of feet that have a "teardrop" tail on them and are designed to snap into the bottom of a stereo receiver or other electronic device. I simply cut off the tail, then nail them into place. They work like a champ!!

The rubber feet in the pictures are close to the kind ACE has.

You can't really get replacement parts. But if you are looking for a shooter bumper send me a pm. I'm starting to make new reproduction ones and already have the shooter bumpers done.
