Welcome to PachiTalk!!
Just to clarify, you are in Japan? and have a Japanese pachislo that has been converted to run on US currency?
These machines were designed to be run on Tokens and I would think these should be readily available in Japan.
As a Forum we do not discuss nor recommend converting machines to take currency, not only for the protection of our members (it can be illegal in some states) but because it really serves no useful purpose, pachislos are manufactured & designed to run on tokens, tokens are cheaper (you need 3 per play).
Back to your query, are you asking about a way to make it 'free play' with a switch?
It's not something I have any knowledge or experience of myself, But our members are quite knowledgeable and often come up with ingenious designs, so hopefully will post with some advice for you

bypassing the token acceptor would probably not be to hard.. or better yet get one of New in Towns units..
but if ya bypased the token acceptor how would ya get around the winnings and the machine neding to payout.. the first time ya wwon it would need to payout tokens.. with out tokens to pay it will error out of service..
good luck to ya.. but i would jsut get some tokens..

There are boards that could be installed that have a credit auto add feature.
