Default Noob question on an Azteca

Ok, so I got an Azteca legend returns, and have a few questions.

Ill start with this. I want to set up my game room (this is the first of a lot of toys) like a casino, no actual $ but give our guests a set number of tokens and see who comes out the "big winner" at the end of the night. Whatever, not important

First question, how do I find the minimum number of coins needed in the hopper to insure I have enough to "pay out" the max "jackpot"?

Second, is there a way to set the machine to accept only 1 token but give the required 3 credits?

Ill have more but this is enough to start.

    Thanks in advance.

This is a maxbet ONLY type machine. Unfortunately there is no way to set it to play on just 1 token, short of rewiring and programming special chips.

Generally I would say 100 to 200 would be plenty, because you can open the door and refill the hopper. In your case it seems you want people to "keep" their tokens through the night. So I would say some where around 700 to 800. A single big bonus can payout 600 to 700.

Also I have a playguide for this machine if you are interested, just PM me your email address and I'll send it over.
    Have a nice day

Thanks to Matt the first 2 are answered.

    2 more...

1-We hit the jackpot and we kept "hitting and hitting" then the music kept going but we were no longer winning almost every pull. It still felt like, and looked like then machine was in bonus round. The 'MAX BET' L.E.D. display showed 130, every time we spun, it would decrease 1. We couldnt exit the so called bonus round until that # went to 0. Whats that all about?

2- Inside the machine there are 2 switches (left and right) stacked on top of each other. What do they do?

    Again, THANKS SO MUCH!

Sorry if I posted twice. Does a mod need to approve every reply? Whats up with that?

you were in a chance or challenge round, it is supposed to give you a better chance at another bonus round.

the 2 switches one way require a full reset after bonus round, set the other way no reset needed

You were in a "CT", ( challenge time), round. On that machine, you are trying to stop the "large pepper symbol" on the first reel. This is called "Eye Shooting". If you Eye Shoot the Big Pepper in on the first reel you will receive extra credits. You had 130 bonus tries to Eye Shoot.

I believe most people set them both to the 'off' position

Here's some helpful info (thanks to member Chrisdice):

Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on

OK, so we had 130 chances but what if we didn't want to take a chance?I only had about 20 credits and couldn't "cash out" I had to feed the machine until I was out of "turns"

you could try a full reset, that may or may not help

So you are stuck "betting" like it or not? Thats silly.

What is the red button on the top left side of the door (inside)?

Personally, I don't think it's "Silly". That's the whole idea of playing these machines. The goal is to hit a Bonus Round or a Challenge Time Round.

During the Challenge Time Round, if you stop the Big Pepper on the first reel, you will be rewarded credits. Once the credit meter reaches 50, the machine will start paying out tokens. If you don't stop the Big Pepper, on the first reel, then "YES" you will have to add tokens. (That's the idea of Challenge Time).

This is where the skill to these games comes into play. These machines are not like the slot machines you play in a Casino, where you push a button and just sit there and watch the reels go round and round. The Paschislo machines are a lot more entertaining.

Of course this is just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinion's.

The red button dispenses the credits shown on the credit meter. You may have to hold in on the button for a few seconds before it will start dispensing tokens.

I obtained an azteca legend returns machine and saw you may have a manual available for download? I would like to know anything about this machine. Volume or language controls would be awesome. Please help!!! Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to Pachitalk!

Language is not selectable as far as I am aware on this machine. I beleive there is a 3 position volume control located inside the door on the machine. I believe it is loud, louder and OMG!!!

I install these volume controls on my machines. They are extremely easy and require no soldering. You will need one per speaker.

a good match alongside the azteca legend is the outlaw which is in a gold framed door

and has the doggie as a sherriff, you get into a lot of shootouts on screen

and it even has dance hall girls
