Cool New to the World of Pachinko with a Daiichi "Rainbow"???

Hello All, My name is Scott and I finally got my hands on a pachinko machine!!! I remember playing one at a friends house years ago. I went to a yard sale the other day and for $10 I got this one to play with. It will need a serious cleaning but it all seems to be there. I do have a question about the wiring. There are three terminals in the back and one light that seems to be missing along with about 5 wires cut near those terminals. Does anybody have a diagram of the connections for this type? Thanks for viewing and your help. Scott

Welcome to PachiTalk! We are thrilled to have you as a new member!!

Take a look at this thread, specifically the diagram in Post #1 and then again in Post #9:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/pach...-nishijin.html

The lights work on a very simple "loop" circuit. You will only use two of the posts on the connection block, as illustrated in the diagrams. The third post was for parlor lights that signaled an attendant when the balls ran low in the machine (clearly not needed for home play )

Post back if you still have questions. We are very eager to help anyone and everyone who asks for it.

great looking machine and a great price.. did ya get any Pachinko balls with it??

think of the wiring as a loop..

start at your power source send one lead to one side of the light bulb, then from the side of the light bulb to the micro / leif switch.. from the other side of the switch back to the other side of your power source creating a loop or circle..

power was originaly ment to be applyed to the red and green posts on your machine..

there is a hand drawn diagram in a thread but ill be damn if i can locate it..

    and of course

    to Pachitalk

Nice 75 Daiichi you found there and at an even better price. Looks to be complete. If you need it I can take extra pictures of my machines for you.

Only thing I noticed is your shooter spring is out of place. (The big spring on the back with the white piece of plastic attached.) It goes on the nail straight across the back (horizontally) from where it is anchored to the shooter. (You can look at my pictures to see what I'm talking about. )

If you have any further questions just ask. And once again welcome to PT.

My first machine was a Daiichi as well. I picked mine up at a garage sale for $20. You did much better at $10. Good luck with the pachinko. It will definately not be your last!!!

    This may help...

In the pictures, the machine was set up for LED's running on 3V, you may want a 9V or 12V set up... all depends on the bulbs of choice.

Also posted a before and after cleaning picture because... it's my thing...

Previous Owner had placed a piece of red plastic over the bottom of the back of the machine with a ramp to a hole on one end. A crude type of ball management that was broken by the time I got it. I discarded it.
